Today We Fly
First of all I want to thank you all for your comments, they are greatly appreciated. We have had a great little visit with my sister Laura and family. After a good nights sleep we are more than ready for the next leg of this journey. Today our flight leaves at 5:30 pm. Tor. Time. Our flight is oppox. 12 hours non stop to Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. For me this is like living out the impossible dream, for so long it didn't look as if we were ever going to get there. Now that its a reality I'm still dealing with some disbelief that its really happening. We are very excited that in only a few days we will be meeting a little girl that we will fall in love with and will become our very own. We feel very priveliged and blessed to be in this position. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers as we continue on in this awesome journey.

We have watching the clock and in 5 minutes you will be in the air,God will keep you safe for us, mom&dad
I’m trying to imagine what you’re feeling. The waiting is almost over, anticipation is building and nervous tension is setting in. A new life is about to start for you both, a new life that will change your life and your new daughter’s life. The thoughts you must be having: Will this work out? Will we be good parents? Will she like living in Canada? Will this? Will that? Well, I can answer all your questions, but I don’t have to. You already know the answers. They’re in your heart. God put them there, large amounts of love and compassion. Everything good comes from Him.
I am proud to be your cousin.
My thoughts are with you on this journey. I know it's something that has been on your hearts for a long time and you are now finally seeing it come to pass. All the best to you and to the lucky little girl that awaits you. Can't wait to meet her. I will check your blog daily to follow your progress.
Blessings to you both.

May the heavens open and fill your lives with every thing you need to bring this precious little girl to her new home. I know God is by your side all the way.
Good Luck to you both and your new little girl. Safe Journey. This is definately one lucky little girl to be blessed by two loving and wonderful adoptive parents. Randy we miss you on your milk run, but know this is the journey that you have long been waiting for. Again Good Luck - se you in a few weeks.

As I got up this morning, my thoughts went immediately to you realizing that you were arriving in Kiev. You were fortunate to get away last evening as we woke to a severe ice storm and many flights were delayed/cancelled. Hope you enjoy a couple of days in Kiev; God's speed and safety on your journey to Odessa!
Love Laura
