HELLO FROM ODESSA
WE MADE IT HERE SAFE AND SOUND. HAD A WONDERFUL DAY WITH Dina, Sergiy and kids. Dina fed us wonderful borsht, blini's, perogi's and is now bringing out a cake. Yum yum
The kids really hit it off and we went to a huge kids game place this afternoon. Nadya had lots of new experiences, the escalator was a bit scary for her , but once she tried it of course she loved it. SHE ALSO LOVED Alina's piano. Anyway got to run.
Laura WE'LL GIVE YOU A CALL AS SOON AS WE CHANGE OUR FLIGHT.

God is SOOOOOOOO good!!!!

Randy, Debbie, & family,
I have been busy the last few days and am just getting caught up with all your news. All I can say is "AMEN", and "HALELUJAH". Looks like things are going your way and I know you are overwelmed with a sense of joy. God Bless.
I am so very happy for all of the COOK family...and especially for your new daughter, Nadya...you have awesome parents, little one.
I won't tie you up with trivial info on my life...suffice to say I moved to Bridgewater from Halifax 15 years ago...went back to school and have been working at Bridgewater Police Dept for nearly 14 years...
Perhaps after you all get back home and get settled in you could drop me a line at kathiemacdonnell@eastlink.ca and we can catch up...hi to Randy. kisses to you and Nadya...God bless you all and keep you safe...Kathie
Thinking of you today as we mark the 9th anniversary of Mom's death. How pleased she would have been to welcome a new grand-daughter.
I got your phone message from Odessa earlier this morning while I was out volunteering at school. I'm home now (noon Toronto time).
Spoke with Mrs. Kennedy on Saturday. I just had to call someone to share the excitement with!
Can't wait to see you all!
Laura
Hi everyone - Just spoke with Randy in Odessa - internet has been down and they probably won't get anything on until tomorrow.
All the stress of the past few weeks has taken its toll apparently. Randy is feeling quite badly with flu and cold. Please pray for a speedy and complete recovery; that he may be able to enjoy these last few days.
I just want to add a touching story he told me about Nadya. Last night she cuddled up beside him as if to say she was sad he was sick. Then she went out into the living room and said, "Daddy's sick - come". When she said good night, Randy told her he loved her and she turned to leave, but quietly said, "I love you Daddy". That just about cured him right there I suspect!
Randy's Sister,
Laura
Hi guys

Our ECMA showcase went well... lots of compliments. Yesterday we played a show in Sackville at the Acadia Hall... and you will never guess who was in attendance??? Dorothy Macdonald my grade primary teacher from Bedford! We had a good chat and i dedicated a song to her. It was pretty neat. I told her all about your travles to Ukraine and she was very impressed. I have her address and will send her a package this week.
