As I post to you this am it is just before 5 am at home so here's a quick one to get you started for the day. Very cold and blustery here today. On the way down here I nearly fell once and Debbie actually went all the way to the sidewalk. She was holding my arm at the moment and I managed to shake her off. Good thing or I could have went down on top of her. We were on a busy sidewalk and I'm happy to report the only bruises are to her pride. We laughed the rest of the way here to the cafe. Just after her fall we met a blind fellow who was managing just fine with his cane. I think I'll pick one up for Debbie??? In her defence the sidewalks are a glare of ice. They don't do the best job of clearing them here. Its each person for himself.
Well by now we have made our school run and have started our daily routine. We are really looking forward to another weekend as last weekend proved to be so rewarding. We may take in a circus this weekend as well. It would be great to go and I'm sure Nastya would be overjoyed as she really loves animals. Again as Debbie has already shared we spend a lot of time at the apartment so there are many games of crazy 8's being played, lots of cartoons being watched, and lots of reading time to be had. In some ways when your forced to slow down its a good thing. Its kind of like being on a retreat in some ways, good for the soul for sure. Part of being still and knowing that He is God. I am reading quite a book right now as well. Its called the Power of Now. The author's name is Echart Tolle. He lives in B.C.(CAN). If your up for something that will cause the wheels to turn I really recommend it. It has been a best seller, and I guess would fall under the spiritual realm. It is different than anything I have ever read before, a real challenge to the mind for sure.
I feel as though we have really turned a corner these days with Nastya, tons of eye contact and lots of interaction. She seems more and more comfortable as each day passes. Well if I went on I would only be rambling so I'll close for now.
Thanks as always for the comments, my sis and the kind words, the West side-thanks Jill. As always mom, and yes I chuckled as I recalled the vacumme cleaner day. We'll spare everyone the details, thats between us. Love ya all much, Randy
By the way a big hello to my boys, how about a comment and an update when you get a chance. Dad
