Nothing much has changed in our world for now. Last evening our translator got a call and within minutes she was out the door to catch a train back to Kiev. Something about a document that had to be delivered in person to the adoption centre. I swear more paper work has been processed during this adoption then what went down during watergate. Just when you think all the pieces to the puzzle are in place you find out your missing one. Anyway We'e trying to remain upbeat about everything and simply need to realize this is out of our hands. What will be will be as they say so again patience is the name of the game. Let me say something right now, if it seems I'm venting a little bit right now please give me the space to do so. I'm not trying to bring anybody down especially us. So for all of you out there grant me a little grace space if I can call it that. Don't want to ramble any more right now, we hope to here something more positive today so we'll WAIT, and see.
I do want to thank all of you that send along the comments of encouragement, esp my sis and the call for much prayer. Good to here from you Cliff, Donnie and Barb, Mom and Dad, Dick and Anna. We know you all are there for us and we love you for it.
Take care , will post later today hopefully. As always, Randy and Debbie.

Good Morning,
Just tried to call you but could not get through will try again later.Vent away that is why we are all here.Aunt Mae said to tell you she is praying away, thinks of you many times a day,as we all do,just keep The Faith we are here to support you .much snow on ground after yesterday, Thought we were going to miss winter this year.Deer made a mess of my garden last night oh well I will look on the bright side know they are not hungry today and it will give me a chance to do some major revamping next spring. Love you always Mom & Dad
If you weren't so far away you both know many of us would be at your side to help you through all of this.Things are much easier if you have someone to listen and we are al so willing. So vent all you want.Just know that we all love you and we are praying real hard for you and Nastya.Love George and Bea

I'll ditto what everyone else has said - VENT AWAY - I know it's frustrating and it's hard to imagine that you will EVER get home. As an encouragment - it took us 5 1/2 months to bring our little darling (okay she's 11 so not that little!!) home - one more piece of paper, one more shut down, one more "thank you" to somebody . . . TODAY we are celebrating one year since we all arrived safely home! You too will get home - in your own bed, driving your own car, reading signs wiht no translator . . . Hang in there!!! You're one day closer (a friend kept emailing that to me - even though we had no clue when we'd get home - with each day thta passed YOU ARE ONE DAY CLOSER!!)
"For I know the plans I have for you" said the Lord "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future". Jeremiah 29:11
God has it all figured out and He knows the end results so just keep hanging on and trust only in Him and His promises!
It has been such a joy to be a part of your journey and it's so interesting how attuned I am now to the Ukraine. At the gym there was a lady with a Ukraine shirt on so of course I had to talk with her and tell her what you were doing. She asked her name and knew it would be such a pretty name. Then there's this girl at the kids school whom I've been admiring her red swade boots from afar. I finally had an opportunity to compliment her on them (and her fur coat) and ask where she was from - guess - yup the Ukraine. She started to explain it was close to Russia when I exclaimed "my friends are there adopting a girl right now". I want to have more time with her to hear her story. All these little "Godincidences" remind me of you and I remember to talk to our Lord about you and praise Him for stirring your hearts for the country and the people and to desire a little girl to have as your own. Your journey is about what God has in store for you and not what you have in store for you. His 'in store' is the best.
Bless you, Bless you, Bless you!

Dear Deb and Randy......We are so sorry that you are held up yet again but we know that God's timing is perfect. How we wish we could make things go faster. Deb, we are having a movie night tonight (so wish you were here) and we will have a time of prayer before we start for all of you. Yarmouth will never look so good as when you finally get home with sweet little Nastya. Just believe...God will make a way where there seems to be no way. Our prayers are with you.
Much Love,
Cindi and Ron
Hi Randy and Deb, thinking of you and praying every day. Just learning how to do this, hope it works, I'm pretty slow.
We love you guys and hope to see you soon.
Ps. Any good pizza around there?
Love Wade and Deb
Debbie & Randy,
Just a little note to let you know that you are always in my thoughts. Not a day goes by that I don't read your blog hoping for good news for all three of you. You both are amazing people and I am sure with time & lots of patience that things will work out for your new addition to your family. Many thoughts Michelle & André
